Over Christmas, we stayed at a hotel that offered a great continental breakfast with a variety of options. Moreover, the hotel was located near public transportation and several restaurants, which was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful which made us feel welcomed.
The hotel was quite small, which made seating limited in both the eating area and the courtyard. Additionally, the cable TV provided limited options which was a bit disappointing.

Close to downtown Bethesda, Walter Reed & Metro.
Ac units are very noisy. Not enough countertop space in baths & electric plug/hair dryer located in inconvenient place. Loved the free limo; however, a shuttle van would be able to service more guests - wouldn't have to fight to be first to sign up.

bethesda center subway station was within walking distance of the hotel. there was woodmont grill, located nearby, where we relaxed.

Convenient location near the 198 bus stop, just a 5-minute walk away. We enjoyed hanging out at the nearby Woodmont Grill. Quick and friendly customer service. The staff was really helpful, and that's why we'd recommend it. 👍

The breakfast was great; helpful and kind staff; excellent location near Metro; many restaurants and attractions nearby; well-equipped and clean rooms; delightful courtyard garden; discount on parking.
For us it was ideal.

Room was elegant and thoughtfully equipped with arm chair, lap desk, and many outlets for recharging devices. Location was fabulous, easy pleasant walk to Metro. Parking was well worth the $15, secure and easy in, easy out.
We liked everything about this hotel, and will return for a longer visit to DC.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is outstanding, situated in a fantastic neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The service here is top-notch, with the staff offering a courteous and friendly service. I was impressed by the personalized attention I received, which made me feel like I was staying at a European boutique hotel. The room amenities were excellent, including ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and a comfortable sitting area. The hotel also provided free toiletries and a television, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Comfy beds, hot shower, helpful staff. Furnishings looked new, yet in a pleasantly vintage style... gold-framed mirrors & marble-tile bathroom floor... expected to see Ginger Rogers & Fred Astaire fox-trot by. Nice outdoor courtyard.
No complaints

The BCH was in a perfect location. We could walk everywhere and close to the Metro. The staff was very knowledgable. The rooms were clean, tidy and breakfast was included.
I was travelling with my 2 adult children - so we had 3 in the room. The room was a little tight for space and the bathrooms were small. I could overlook this because of location and friendliness/knowledge of the staff.

The hotel was located in a convenient area, with subway stations nearby making it easy to get around. There were many great restaurants within walking distance, as well as competitive airport transfer options. The rooms were pleasantly decorated and featured comfortable beds, while the bathroom was clean and provided adequate amenities. The breakfast spread was diverse, with fresh fruit, bagels, and cereal selections to choose from.
The hotel's elevators were old and slow, causing delays and inconvenience for many guests.

Free bottles of water upon arrival. Free small chocolates at desk. Clerk friendly. Free newspaper. Rooms equipped with nice TV, beds comfy, iron, hair dryer, small samples of hair products to use (which I did because I forgot mine). Room pretty clean. There was small spot on the carpet which I took a photo of in case they charged me a cleaning fee. The tub still had shampoo and soap residue on the edge from previous occupant. And the toilet had something in it - couldn't tell what it was and I wasn't going to stand there and stare at it - but flushed away. Other than that, the seat and bowl were clean. Makeup remover wipe sample was a surprise.
Front door sticks - maybe because of the humidity. Low water pressure in shower. Breakfast room extremely small. You have to pay $15 per day to park. Parking is very tight. Vending machine up on 2nd Floor. Only free coffee packets in room. Would rather have hot chocolate. I had two rooms that I reserved. The room next it smelled awful from cigarette smoke even though we reserved two non-smoking rooms and there was a sign on the table - no smoking. We turned the A/C on full blast to help get rid of the strong cigarette odor and went out for about half an hour. We didn't bother going to the front desk because these were the only two rooms we could get next to each other even though I had reserved it well in advance.

I liked they had a refrigerator in the room. Also I liked they had paraben free bath products. The staff was friendly. They had a small exercise room with nice equipment.
My in room coffee maker failed and when they replaced it with another it still didn't work. The room was dark, no tub just a very small shower, I mean really small. The room was very cold, the heater/cooler is old school, a box unit under the window. I tried turning on the heat and just slightly warm air came out. I had to ask for an extra blanket as the one on the bed was very thin.

I had a great stay at this hotel with friendly staff and a charming courtyard. It was in a convenient location near the metro and walking distance from top-notch restaurants and attractions. The parking was reasonably priced, and I appreciated the clean rooms.
Nothing to complain about.

The staff were extremely helpful. They brought in pillows for my mother to lie down in the lobby. She enjoyed being there and watching people come and go because she didn't want to be cooped up in her room, especially when she is with a Walker. She does not have much balance to walk and needs assistance, so staff was very kind in helping her. Breakfast is nice to have and the best feature is the courtyard!
A ramp at entrance for handicapped people, like someone with a walker or wheelchair would be good to have.
